Passwords and Security

You must use a password to access the Bill Payment Center. Your password has the same effect as your written signature on a check or credit card receipt in connection with service provider and can be used to make one-time payments on your bill. You should treat your password with the same degree of care and secrecy that you use to protect your other personal identification numbers or sensitive personal financial data. You are responsible for all bill payments you authorize using the Bill Payment Center. If you permit other persons to use the Bill Payment Center or your Bill Payment Password or other means to access your account, you are responsible for any transactions they authorize. The Bill Payment Center has been designed so that no one can access your payment account. If you believe your bill payment password or other means to access your account has been lost or stolen or that someone may attempt to use your login to the Bill Payment Center without your consent, you must notify a representative immediately by calling your service provider during normal business hours.

One-Time Payments

Your payment will take up to 2 business days to reach the account to which you are making a payment. We cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the intended account due to a customer quoting an incorrect service account number. We will attempt to deliver an email confirmation of your payment to you using the email address you provided. We do not accept responsibility for incorrectly entered or invalid email accounts. You may use the print option on the payment page to print the payment confirmation.

Recurring Payments

Your payment will take up to 2 business days from the day you set up in your recurring payment setup to reach the account to which you are making a payment. We cannot accept responsibility for late payments or bank charges in the case of credit card declines or bank returns for any reason. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide valid and up-to-date information for the payment method that is provided. We cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the intended account due to a customer quoting a service account number. We will attempt to deliver an email confirmation or an email notice of payment not being made. We cannot accept responsibility for non-receipt of email due to an incorrect or invalid email address in your online profile. Online Payment Center is not under any obligation to notify you of a credit card decline or a bank return. Customers should check their financial account or credit card supplier to be certain that the payment was deducted.

Returned Transactions

In the event that a payment you have made using a bank checking or savings account is returned, the amount of the transaction will be charged back to your service account, plus any return charges that apply.

Refund Transactions

In the event that a payment you have made with a credit card is refunded, the amount of the charge will be credited back to the appropriate credit card used at the time of payment, and account balances will be adjusted appropriately.

Access to the Online Payment Center may be terminated at any time, without notice and for any reason. We will attempt to provide you with prior notice of suspension or termination by posting at our web site or otherwise sending notice of termination, but we are in no event obligated to do so. Neither termination nor discontinuation of the use of the Online Payment Center shall affect your liability for transactions initiated through these services using your password. If we terminate your payment service, transactions scheduled for dates after the date of termination will be cancelled. Your privacy as stated above will survive beyond the term of this agreement.
